Charcoal a bit

Mystery Artist - Hidden Falls©

Hi all!! today I spent some time working on an art piece. It has been a while since I've worked with charcoal so I decided that I was going to have some fun with it. I liked it. This is what I came up with. The work itself is rather small but I am contemplating on whether or not I will go ahead with projecting it unto a larger piece of canvas. Hope you like it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. I love using charcoal in combination with other materials in a painting. Your piece is a delightful mix of value and texture. Definitely worth enlarging.

  2. Hi, this is my first time to visit your blog and a blog about art. Recently, I've found myself interested in this, but ain't know where to start with it. But by looking at the paintings on your blog I can see I have a long way to get to know it. Thanks if you'd like to tell me how to define art yourself. Nick

    Parabéns, voltarei a te visitar.

  4. Yeah, I just began to feel like art for a short while, but I can’t stand the feeling that I have no ideas about what I’m interested in. I’m not new to blogging. Actually I found it is what I’m looking for for about a year. Before I started blogging in English I started a blog about languages in Vietnamese. Thanks for your willingness to help. Nick.
